Community Involvement Program

The Community Involvement Program (CIP) is a comprehensive, need‑based scholarship and retention program for first‑generation college students from the Stockton community who demonstrate leadership potential, community awareness, and a commitment to service. Established in 1969 by students, community members, faculty, and staff, CIP has long provided access to a Pacific education through substantial financial support, along with an integrated learning‑community experience that includes leadership development, academic enrichment, and community service.

More than 2,000 students have graduated from CIP, a testament to its strong outcomes and deep impact on social mobility in the Stockton region. With impressive graduation rates: 87% for first‑year students and 90% for transfer students, CIP continues to cultivate a supportive environment where Scholars can thrive academically while giving back to their community.

Your support sustains this longstanding legacy and ensures future first‑generation leaders have the resources and opportunities they need to succeed.
